We are located in Fresno California on our 15 acre ranch with plenty of room to work the dogs. We actively compete in AKC conformation, hunt tests and in North America Hunter Retriever Association tests. We are recognized by the AKC as a "Breeder of Merit". The Breeder of Merit Program honors breeder/exhibitors' dedication and hard work as they continue to produce dogs that are healthy, capable, and beautiful. The foundation of today's AKC, Breeders of Merit have the power to influence, guide, and teach future breeders, exhibitors, and all purebred dog owners. We have both field and show lines in all colors. We occasionally have older dogs for sale. We are members of the Hills Ferry Hunter Retriever Club. We have been very active in past years with the Central California Labrador Retriever Club. Christine has served as the President, Secretary and Public Education Coordinator for the CCLRC through the years and we encourage labrador owners to participate in local clubs. Christine also started in the ring on the other end of the lead as a judge in 2011. "I didn't know where to stand at first, and Scott swears he knew exactly who I was going to give it to." We were both pleased to judge the mock hunt test/ fun day at HFHRC and found it gave a great appreciation for what goes into pulling an event like that off. Scott is Pro-Staff for Remington Sporting Dog, Dogtra E-Collars, E-Collar Technologies, and Game Keeper Supplies. Call us for all your training needs. We are active supporters of the California Waterfowl Association. Scott and Christine are Dinner Chairs of the Kerman & Mendota Chapters and co-chairs for the new Madera Chapter. We offer puppies to good homes with the time and space to accommodate them on limited registration. We OFA our breeding stock and CERF annually. We strive for sound, loving, companions with the drive to perform. Our dogs are being used in the field for upland and duck hunting, as well as drug detection dogs, and first and foremost as loving companions. We have produced tournament hunting champions, International and American show champions and junior and senior hunters. Our girl Tara (CH Four K's Celtic Legacy WC) represents 3 generations of AKC champions owned/bred at our kennel. Our next goal is a master hunter or field champion. If you are thinking about getting a lab, feel free to contact us for more information. We want to help you find your new best friend. From our home to yours. Oh, and yes we do own a select few German Short Haired Pointers and one Chesapeake Bay Retriever "Blade", who at his first show earned his International Puppy Championship and also a Reserve Best In Show win! Blade is only one "Major" win away from his AKC Championship. We are thrilled that in 2011, we added our first bred by GSP champion to the ranks. Our daughter added her very own show dog, Misty and Diablo, Chinese Crested powderpufsf. Misty and Diablo quickly found very special places in our hearts with attitude that does not stop and an affection for her owners which rivals the love our labs share with us. Misty won Best Of Winners at her first show handled by Brenna our (6 year old at the time) daughter. Brenna is very full of herself now. After all she has handled two labs to their WC titles in the field and has earned points on her puppy all at 6 years of age. What will she do when she is 7 (start cheer leading, that's what)? Well, she is out of the gate in running, with more wins on Misty and a new Crested to take to the ring. Brenna has continued showing, and is excited at 9 to start junior handling with one of her dogs... Now who to pick? Now in highschool with several years of all star cheerleading and dog handling under her belt, Brenna is enjoying the field this fall and is happy hunting over her dogs! She is also cheering on our Central High Grizzly teams and can't wait to show her hog at the Big Fresno Fair! Our redneck princess is one busy little lady! The first thing after great genes is feeding a product to your dog that promotes even growth, great coats, and the overall good health of your pet, while giving them the energy to perform. After trying many expensive and trendy products, we were very surprised and happy to find Propac Super Premium Dog Food. I was concerned like everyone else with the string of recent pet food recalls. I looked up which pet food companies had not been involved in any of the recalls. What a SHORT list. I researched each company and decided that Propac had both the quality and integrity that I was looking for. They offered a quality product that fit within any budget. I know that everyone is one a budget, and with Propac, you will not have to sacrifice quality to save a few pennies. After switching to Propac we saw that the dogs maintained their energy in the field for longer and we really started seeing success in the show ring. It was the final piece in the puzzle for us. It was great to find a dog food company that believed everyone should be able to afford a PREMIUM pet food without paying a premium price. We strongly recommend giving them a try. We feed the Lamb & Rice variety and send each new puppy home with a bag, just to start them off right. We are also very fortunate in our canine handlers. Ellen Cottingham When you are looking for a handler, honesty, dedication and professionalism are priceless qualities. Ellen has been trusted with our very special four legged children, and that says a great deal about her. |

| Christine on the other end of the lead, judging sweepstakes at the Central Valley Australian Shepherd Club. "I managed to find this lovely pair of littermates. I was thrilled with the consistency and also that the male ended up taking 3 majors that weeked! For a lab breeder, they said I could judge Aussie's anytime." BTW I have continued to watch the careers' of these to and the boy has finished his AKC title and is making waves! |
