We are located in Fresno California on our 15 acre ranch with plenty of room to work the dogs. We are also home to a variety of livestock including a small herd of Boer goats. We actively compete in AKC conformation, hunt tests and in 2007 we will start running field trials. We have both field and show lines in all colors. We occasionally have older dogs for sale. We are members of the Central California Labrador Retriever Club (Christine is serving as the current club President) and the San Joaquin Labrador Retriever Club. We offer puppies to good homes with the time and space to accommodate them on limited registration. We OFA our breeding stock and CERF annually. We strive for sound, loving, companions with the drive to perform. Our dogs are being used in the field for upland and duck hunting, as well as drug detection dogs, and first and foremost as loving companions. We have produced tournament hunting champions, International and American show champions and junior and senior hunters. Our next goal is a master hunter or field champion. If you are thinking about getting a lab, feel free to contact us for more information. We want to help you find your new best friend. From our home to yours. Oh, and yes we do own a single German Short Haired Pointer "Mac", not to be out done by the labs, Mac finished from the 12-18 month puppy class, going BOB twice. We also have one Chesapeake Bay Retriever "Blade", who at is first show earned his International Puppy Championship and also a Reserve Best In Show win! Blade is only one "Major" win away from his AKC Championship. We hope to add another GSP and Chessy in 2008. Our daughter added her very own show dog, Misty a Chinese Crested powderpuff. Misty quickly found a very special place in our hearts with attitude that does not stop and an affection for her owners which rivals the love our labs share with us. Misty won Best Of Winners at her first show handled by Brenna our 6 year old daughter. Brenna is very full of herself now. After all she has handled two labs to their WC titles in the field and has earned points on her puppy all at 6 years of age. What will she do when she is 7? The first thing after great genes is feeding a product to your dog that promotes even growth, great coats, and the overall good health of your pet, while giving them the energy to perform. After trying many expensive and trendy products, we were very surprised and happy to find Diamond Dog Food. I was talking to another breeder/competitor on the East Coast when they mentioned that they used Diamond Dog Food. I looked them up and decided to give them a try. They offered a quality product that fit within any budget. After switching to Diamond, we found that our dogs had fewer reproductive issues, maintained their energy in the field for longer, and we really started seeing success in the show ring. It was the final piece in the puzzle for us. It was great to find a dog food company that believed everyone should be able to afford a PREMIUM pet food without paying a premium price. We strongly recommend giving them a try. Diamond has also launched a new line in the all natural Taste Of The Wild brand. Our favorite is the Bison & Venison version and the dogs love it. DIAMOND PET FOOD We are also very fortunate in our canine handlers. Ellen Cottingham, in the show ring and Rob Hall, trainer and sometime handler in the field. Rob is currently spending several days a week here in Fresno training dogs. If you want to discuss training, call Scott and he can set up a time to meet Rob. When you are looking for a handler, honesty, dedication and professionalism are priceless qualities. Both Rob and Ellen have been trusted with our very special four legged children, and that says a great deal about them. |
